We’re two girls who fell in love with writing and reading about people falling in love.

Swoontini is about fun and books and the occasional serious thing. We used to have a “process” blog but found that it was hard to *just* write about the business of writing. Publishing is uncertain and stressful and there are people far better qualified to teach the do’s and do not’s than us. We’ll share the resources we find along the way, but here we write about what books we love and why, and the silliness that is us. LET’S BE HONEST: Who doesn’t like pretty pictures, gifs and swoon?

We are repped by the amazing Holly Root. Our first adult novel – under the combined pen-name, Christina Lauren - debuted on the NYT and USA Today Bestsellers list!! The second book in the series hits shelves May 28th. Our current completed YA project, SUBLIME, is with our agent and ready to begin its journey! We’re already hard at work on the next one. Or five. Clearly, we should watch more TV.

Lauren Billings (but everyone calls her Lo) lives a wonderfully schizophrenic life: by day, she is a Ph.D. scientist, doing nerdy-research stuff. In all other hours, her world is youthful: she is silly Mommy to two littles, and an unabashed lover of YA lit.

Christina Hobbs (but you’ll always hear Lo call her PQ) spends her days in a school counseling office surrounded by teenagers and immersed in stories of romance, report cards, and the all-encompassing giddiness that comes with the countdown to summer vacation.
